I created this website in 2004 thinking you would appreciate to find this kind of information whenever needed.
I had no idea we would be so many to think so ! Thousands log onto the website every month as well as on my two other websites (Anthropology Resources on the Internet and Droit et Archéologie).
This leads me to think that African Archaeology and the other web sites would benefit from a better follow up if funds would be made available to create the biggest online library on archeology whose contents would be screened by professionals like myself.
This will be equivalent to a full time job and it would be based on part time collaborators from several universities or research centres. It is now a network to be put up, to gather the best information, check it out and put it online for YOUR use.
Up to now, I have created the websites and curated them online on my own funds but in order to develop them the way I wish to, I need regular small contributions from users and maybe sponsors to push our resources into the 21st century.
